DESCRIPTION

Named ‘Geppaku’ from the Japanese, meaning white with a hint of pale blue, the colour of the dial is inspired by the blueish colour of the moonlight.

This watch is from the Seiko Presage Sharp Edged collection, inspired by ancient and modern Japanese design.

It features a new case design with a mirror finishing on both lug sides and a multi-hand calibre with a power reserve indicator, day and date display, along with a striking new two-layered dial.

The dials on Presage Sharp Edged timepieces feature a traditional Japanese pattern designed to bring growth and success. This angular ancient hemp print has been seen in Japanese artisan objects since the Heian period (794-1185) and features on textiles and interior styles.
